Finlanda construieste prima autostrada verde din lume

Tara celor o mie de lacuri, Finlanda, intentioneaza sa construiasca prima ‘autostrada verde’ din lume, pe care sa fie amplasate statii de alimentare care sa ofere electricitate si biocarburant produse din resurse locale, inclusiv din deseuri, scrie AFP.
‘Obiectivul este de a crea modelul unei autostrazi ecologice, care sa poata fi folosit inclusiv la nivel international. Nu exista niciun proiect de acest tip, va fi un exemplu pentru intreaga lume’, a explicat directorul proiectului, Aki Marjasvaara.
Scopul este sa se foloseasca deseuri produse in zonele traversate pentru a produce etanol si, in general, de a utiliza mai bine resursele acestor regiuni pentru a produce la fata locului energia necesara vehiculelor care vor circula pe ‘autostrada verde’.
Printre alte propuneri se numara instalarea de pompe geotermale, informarea utilizatorilor asupra nivelului de emisii si a impactului asupra mediului sau imbunatatirea iluminatului (nivel de luminozitate reglat in functie de conditiile climatice).
Raportul privind posibilitatea sau nu de construire a ‘autostrazii verzi’, precum si asupra costului sau final trebuie finalizat pana in luna martie 2011.
