Primarul suspendat al Craiovei, Antonie Solomon, a iesit azi din arest, el fiind eliberat in urma deciziei luate de judecatorii de la Curtea de Apel Galati. Dupa cinci luni de stat dupa gratii, Antonie Solomon se va intoarce acasa, insa el nu va putea sa revina in functia de primar.
Antonie Solomon a fost trimis in judecata de procurorii DNA pentru ca a luat o mita de 50.000 euro de la actionarul principal al firmei PIC din Pitesti, Cornel Penescu, cel care este si finantatorul echipei de fotbal FC Arges.
Consecventi cutumei potrivit careia coruptii nu ar trebui sa fie incarcerati, judecatorii galateni au decis eliberarea din arest a primarului Solomon. Potrivit purtatorului de cuvant al Curtii de Apel Galati, Solomon nu va avea voie sa paraseasca Craiova, fara acceptul organelor de ancheta.
Fostul edil este acuzat de procurorii DNA ca primit 50.000 euro mita de la Cornel Penescu pentru a-i elibera acestuia o autorizatie de constructie pentru un hypermarket PIC ce urma sa fie ridicat in Craiova. In schimbul banilor, Solomon urma sa asigure si o linie de transport in comun pana in zona unde era amplasat respectivul hypermarket.
