Transnistria a intrat in incapacitate de plata

Transnistria nu mai are bani sa-si plateasca stufosul aparat birocratic, dar nici pensiile, potrivit ziarului rus Nezavisimaia Gazeta. Moscova nu mai vrea sa finanteze regimul lui Smirnov si incearca sa-l inlature de la putere pe actualul lider al comunistilor de la Tiraspol.
Guvernul-fantoma de la Tiraspol a acumulat datorii foarte mari fata de Federatia Rusa, care se ridica la peste 30 de milioane de dolari, sustin surse din ministerul rus de externe, citate de ziarul rus si preluate de Hotnews.
Moscova nu mai este dispusa sa-l sustina pe presedintele autoproclamatei republici transnistrene, asa ca face presiuni asupra Tiraspolului sa-si achite datoriile.
De altfel, Rusia a incetat sa mai finanteze Tiraspolul, fapt confirmat de presedintele Sovietului Suprem al Transnistriei, Anatoli Kaminski.
Rusia a finantat puternic aceasta regiune, mai ales dupa 2006, cand Republica Moldova si Ucraina au introdus o blocada economica impotriva Tiraspolului. Oficialitatile de la Moscova stau in expectativa in contextul alegerilor generale de la Chisinau, care ar putea insemna intoarcerea comunistilor la putere si incercarea, pe aceasta cale, de a media conflictul dintre cele doua parti.
Mai mult, Rusia asteapta si rezultatul scrutinului de la Tiraspol din 2011, cand va fi ales un alt presedinte si mizeaza pe inlaturarea de la putere a lui Smirnov. Cu alte cuvinte, Moscova nu mai vrea sa finanteze regimul lui Igor Smirnov si in urma unei puternice crize economice, populatia sa nu-l mai voteze pe actualul lider de la Tiraspol.
