Dusterul intra in finala pentru “Masina anului 2011 in Europa”

Dacia Duster se afla printre cele sapte finaliste ce vor concura pentru premiul “Masina Anului 2011 in Europa”. Modelul produs la Mioveni se afla intr-o companie selecta: Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Citroen C3/DS3, Ford C-Max, Nissan Leaf, Opel Meriva si Volvo S60/V60. Castigatorul va fi anuntat pe 29 noiembrie.
Este primul model Dacia intrat in finala pentru masina anului in Europa, Dusterul reusind sa fie selectat din 41 de modele.
Competitia nu este destinata doar masinilor europene, insa modelele nominalizate trebuie sa fie disponibile in cel putin cinci tari din Europa, iar vanzarile trebuie sa depaseasca cifra de 5.000 de unitati pe an.
Criteriile care sunt luate in calcul de juriu: design, confort, siguranta, consum, manevrabilitate, performante, functionalitate, cerinte de mediu, satisfactia oferita soferului si pret.
“Masina anului in Europa” a fost infiinta in 1964 de un grup de reviste din mai multe tari europene. In 2010, organizatorii sunt Auto (Italia), Autocar (Marea Britanie), Autopista (Spania), Autovisie (Olanda), L’Automobile Magazine (Franta), Stern (Germania) si Vi Bilägare (Suedia).
Juriul este format din jurnalisti auto din toata Europa. Reprezentarea din fiecare tara se stabileste in functie de marimea pietei auto, dar si gradul de dezvoltare al industriei.
In 2010, masina anului in Europa a fost noul Volkswagen Polo.
