Aproape 80 de politisti de frontiera si vamesi au fost retinuti, joi dimineata, in Vama Siret, pentru trafic de tigari si luare de mita. Vama Siret a fost complet blocata de politistii mascati. Traficul in vama este oprit, cozile de masini intinzandu-se pe aproape doi kilometri.
Procurorii DNA si ofiterii de la Directia Generala Anticoruptie efectueaza joi peste 70 de perchezitii în judetul Suceava, la domiciliile unor politisti de frontiera si vamesi, precum si la Punctul de Trecere a Frontierei Siret. Sunt vizati vamesi care introduceau in tara tigari de contrabanda.
Ancheta procurorilor si ofiterilor DGA a fost sprijinita de conducerea Politiei de Frontiera, care a sesizat fenomenul de la PTF Siret si a contribuit cu informatii în cele circa sase luni de monitorizare a retelei.
