Generalii Chirita si Marian Ion au promovat prin spaga un intreg batalion

Aproximativ 500 de militari au obtinut in mod fraudulos, anul trecut, dreptul de a se incadra in Armata ajutati de reteaua pusa la punct de generalii arestati Mihai Chirita si Ion Marian. Audierile in acest caz demonstreaza ca sute de militari au dat mita pentru a fi incadrati in structurile MApN. Sumele platite erau de aproximativ 2.000 de euro si banii erau impartiti de cei doi generali alaturi de alte 25 de cadre militare, asa numitii intermediari. Anchetatorii au stabilit ca grilele de examen rezolvate erau trimise celor care plateau, prin SMS, de pe trei cartele preplatite.
Completul de cinci judecatori al instantei supreme a dispus, la data de 20 decembrie 2010, arestarea pentru 29 de zile a generalului de brigada Marian Ion, adjunct al sefului Directiei de Management si Resurse Umane din MApN, a generalului maior Mihai Chirita, sef al Directiei de Instructie si Doctrine din cadrul Statului Major General al MApN, a colonelului Vasile Belciug, fost comandant al Scolii de aplicatii pentru unitati de lupta “Mihai Viteazu” Pitesti si fost comandant al garnizoanei Pitesti, a locotenent-colonelului Dan Costel Craciuneanu, seful Biroului Informare-Recrutare din cadrul Centrului Militar Judetean Ilfov si a maiorului Crinu-Ionut Onel, din cadrul Scolii de aplicatii pentru unitati de lupta “Mihai Viteazu” Pitesti.
Potrivit unui comunicat al DNA, “inculpatii cu functii de conducere s-au folosit de puterea functiilor si gradelor militare importante pe care le detineau, in scopul promovarii in mod ilegal, contra unor sume de bani, prin furnizarea subiectelor la unele probe scrise, a unor candidati in structurile acestui minister, in detrimentul candidaţilor care trebuiau, in mod legal, declarati admisi la aceste concursuri si selectii”.
Astfel, potrivit procurorilor militari anticoruptie, in perioada iulie-august 2010, generalul de brigada Marin Ion a exercitat presiuni asupra comandantilor celor doua unitati militare de invatamant, prin persoane interpuse, pentru ca 38 de candidati sa promoveze in mod fraudulos aceste concursuri. “In acest sens, o persoana apropiata inculpatului Ion Marain, la randul sau invinuit in cauza, a primit suma de peste 46.000 de euro de la mai multi candidati, pentru sine, pentru Ion Marian si pentru membrii comisiilor de examinare”, mai arata procurorii.
