Trei sferturi din angajatii din Vama Albita, saltati de jandarmi

Procurorii de la Directia Generala Anticoruptie si jandarmiii au descins in aceasta dimineata in Vama Albita si au saltat 70 de vamesi si politisti de frontiera, suspectati de fapte de coruptie, privind luarea de mita si inlesnirea traficului de tigari. Pesoanele au fost monitorizate timp de mai multe luni. In Vama Albita, lucreaza 114 persoane din care 87 de sunt vamesi.
Potrivit unor surse Mediafax, mare parte dintre angajatii din Vama Albita au fost ridicati de anchetatori de la locuintele lor din municipiul Husi, la 15 km de granita cu Republica Moldova. Ei au fost adusi la Bucuresti de dube ale Jandarmeriei. De asemenea, au fost retinuti si 15 lucratori aflati la serviciu in momentul descinderii la Vama Albita.
Insusi seful actual al punctului de frontiera de la Albita, Emil Bordeianu, aflat in atentia procurorilor anticoruptie, a mai fost acuzat de fapte de coruptie in 1999, in lotul celor 14 lucratori anchetati pentru contrabanda cu alcool. Insa, Bordeaianu nu a primit atunci nicio sanctiune. De asemenea, Vama Albita a mai fost in atentia DNA, in 2008, cand fostul sef al vamii, Ghita Berbece a fost arestat si cercetat pentru trafic de tigari, alaturi de interlopii Vasile Rodideal, Radu Bogdan si Nicu Cercel. Berbece a fost pus sub acuzare pentru initire, constituire si aderare la grup infractional care introducea tigari ilegal, in tara.
