Procurorii DIICOT au facut una din cele mai mari capturi de droguri din ultima vreme. Aproximativ 150 de kg de cocaina, cu o puritate de 99% si avand o valoare de piata de 10 milioane euro au fost gasite intr-o fabrica de mobila din localitatea Sapanta, propietar fiind un cetatean spaniol. Anchetatorii i-au retinut, pentru 24 de ore, pe Anghel Romeo Sebastian, zis Sorin, de 30 de ani si Alvarez Moreno Ibon, 36 de ani, cetatean spaniol, pentru savarsirea infractiunii de trafic international ilicit de droguri de mare risc.
Cei doi vor fi dusi in instanta cu propunere de arestare preventiva pentru o perioada de 29 de zile.
Procurorii sustin ca Anghel Romeo Sebastian si Alvarez Moreno Ibon fac parte dintr-un grup infractional organizat transnational de traficanti de droguri, care intentiona sa introduca in Romania, prin portul Constanta, cantitatea de aproximativ 500 kilograme cocaina, drog de mare risc, disimulata in marfuri expediate in containere.
In acest scop, inculpatii au identificat o firma inmatriculata in localitatea Sapanta, judetul Maramures, avand ca obiect de activitate fabricare si import-export de mobilier, prin intermediul careia sa efectueze importurile.
Procedand in acest mod, inculpatii au introdus in tara un container, marfa declarata fiind parchet din lemn, provenind din Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
Transportul a ajuns in portul Constanta si ulterior, in cadrul unei livrari supravegheate, in localitatea Sapanta, jud. Maramures.
Pe 29 martie 2011, cu ocazia perchezitiei efectuate de procurorii DIICOT la sediul firmei importatoare, la efectuarea controlului fizic total asupra continutului containerului, s-au gasit 19 paleti cu scanduri din lemn, in fiecare scandura fiind practicate cate patru compartimente special amenajate in care se afla cate un pachet continand cantitatea de circa 400 grame cocaina.
In container se afla disimulata in total cantitatea de peste 150 kg de cocaina avand puritatea 99%.
Drogurile proveneau din Bolivia, transportul urmand sa tranziteze teritoriul Romaniei, avand ca destinatie finala Olanda.
