Un miliardar american a organizat croaziere ‘salbatice’ in Romania

Presedintele american Barack Obama incearca sa evite nominalizarea stanjenitoare a miliardarului Jeff Greene, fost republican si implicat in scandaluri compromitatoare, drept candidatul democrat pentru postul de senator al Floridei, relateaza The Sunday Times. Jeff Greene a facut avere din prabusirea pietei imobiliare din SUA si se lauda cu ‘un iaht al iubirii’ despre care se zvoneste ca gazduieste croaziere ‘salbatice’ (inclusiv in Romania), condimentate cu sex, alcool si droguri, la care au participat celebritati controversate precum Mike Tyson si Lindsay Lohan.
In varsta de 55 de ani, Greene este departe de imaginea pe care democratii vor sa o proiecteze: el l-a avut cavaler de onoare la nunta din 2007 pe boxerul Mike Tyson, condamnat pentru viol si cunoscut pentru tentativele sale de depasire a dependentei de droguri.
Disperati in incercarea de a stopa numirea lui Greene drept candidat democrat la Senat, Barack Obama si fostul presedinte Bill Clinton vor organiza in aceasta saptamana adunari pentru sprijinirea contracandidatului acestuia, Kendrick Meek, de 43 de ani, fost politist de culoare care i-a urmat mamei sale in locul din Congres.
Intr-un interviu acordat Sports Illustrated, Tyson a sustinut ca a participat pe iahtul lui Jeff Greene la o orgie ‘alimentata’ de droguri, calatorind timp de trei luni pana in locuri precum St. Tropez, Ibiza, Monte Carlo, Ucraina, Rusia si Lisabona. In acest rastimp, el ar fi intalnit si un traficant de droguri in Amsterdam. ‘Tipul ala merge si imi aduce un bolovan de cocaina. (…) Curand, petrecerea mergea ca unsa. Aveam de toate, rugbisti, fete goale… in plus, am avut-o si pe fata asta, pe care am luat-o din Romania’, a explicat Tyson.
Jeff Greene a catalogat aceste relatari ca fiind ‘o gramada de minciuni’, pentru care a invinuit ‘doi angajati nemultumiti’. El a recunoscut organizarea de petreceri pe vremea cand era burlac, dar a insistat ca acum toata atentia sa se indreapta spre fiul sau in varsta de 10 luni. Potrivit purtatorului sau de cuvant, aventura din Marea Neagra ar fi fost de fapt ‘un pelerinaj religios’.
‘Jeff a calatorit pe iahtul sau cu rabinul sau si cu fratele sau mai mic pentru a vizita lacasuri evreiesti din Romania si din Odesa’, a declarat purtatorul de cuvant, negand orice participare a unor femei usoare in timpul calatoriei.
