FIFA si revista France Football au acordat, luni, la Zürich, Balonul de Aur 2010. Finalistii au fost trei jucatori de la Barcelona: Iniesta, Xavi si Messi. A castigat argentinianul Lionel Messi, dupa ce el primise Balonul de Aur si in anul 2009.
Este prima editie in care FIFA si France Football au decernat impreuna trofeul Balonul de Aur.
“Nu ma asteptam sa castig! Colegii mei ar fi meritat mai mult acest trofeu. Dedic trofeul tuturor fanilor Barcelonei şi Argentinei“, a spus Messi, dupa ce si-a primit premiul.
Jose Mourinho, castigator al Ligii Campionilor cu Inter anul trecut, a fost desemnat castigatorul Balonului de Aur pentru cel mai bun antrenor.
Tot luni FIFA a anuntat cel mai bun “11” al anului 2010: Casillas, Maicon, Lucio, Piqué, Puyol, Xavi, Sneijder, Iniesta, Messi, Villa si Cristiano Ronaldo.
