O romanca, data disparuta in urma cutremurului din Noua Zeelanda

O femeie de origine romana a fost data disparuta in urma devastatorului cutremur de marti din Noua Zeelanda, a anuntat pentru Radio Romania, Emanuel Crainic, preot in orasul Christchurch, localitate grav afectata de seism. Femeia, care lucra ca educatoare, s-ar fi aflat, la momentul producerii seismului, într-o clădire care s-a dărâmat. Informatia nu este confirmata de Ministerul de Externe.
“Din pacate, avem o persoana care este data disparuta din comunitatea romaneasca, o doamna profesoara de engleza care era la datorie in cladirea CTV si este data disparuta si nadajduim sa fie in regula, ca inca se mai scot supravietuitori de sub daramaturi, dar nu stim la ora actuala”, a afirmat Emanuel Crainic.
După cutremur, reprezentanţi ai românilor din Noua Zeelandă au început să caute informaţii despre posibile victime din rândul comunităţii. Aceştia nu au reuşit să o găsească pe femeia de origine română. Reprezentanţii comunităţii de români au dat sesizat autorităţile, dând-o dispărută.
Autoritatile au decretat stare de urgenta in regiunea unde s-a produs cutremurul, iar echipele de salvare continua sa caute supravietuitorii celui mai devastator cutremur produs in aceasta tara in ultimii 80 de ani.
Ultimul bilant al autoritatilor indica circa 400 de morti si disparuti. Pana acum au fost recuperate de sub daramaturi 75 de cadavre si 300 de persoane sunt inca date disparute, scrie AFP.
Pagubele seismului de marti din Christchurch se ridica la 11,5 miliarde de dolari, circa 6,3 miliarde de euro, potrivit calculelor AIR Worldwide, o societate care evalueaza pagubele financiare in urma unor catastrofe.
Cutremurul de marti din Noua Zeelanda a avut o magnitudine de 6,3 pe scara Richter si s-a produs la suprafata. Seismul s-a produs in jurul pranzului, cand oamenii erau la serviciu sau pe strada. Mai multe cladiri s-au prabusit.
