Presedintele Traian Basescu a anuntat, in cadrul consultarilor avute cu liderii PDL de duminica, asupra necesitatii modificarii Constitutiei, sustinand revenirea la un mandat de 4 ani a sefului statului ca o masura de consolidare a stabilitatii guvernarii, precum si introducerea in Constitutie a unui plafon de 3% in cazul deficitului la bugetul de stat ca o masura de prevenire a populismului electoral.
“In cadrul consultarilor cu conducerea PDL, presedintele Traian Basescu a accentuat nevoia de modificare a Constitutiei in directia reducerii numarului de parlamentari, clarificarii conditiilor de suspendare a sefului statului, precum și revenirii la un mandat de 4 ani in cazul alegerii acestuia ca o masura de consolidare a stabilitații guvernarii in Romania”, informeaza un comunicat semnat de purtatorul de cuvant al presedintelui, Valeriu Turcan.
“De asemenea, presedintele Traian Basescu a evocat posibilitatea introducerii in legea fundamentala a unui plafon de 3% in cazul deficitului la bugetul de stat ca o masura de prevenire a populismului electoral. Presedintele Romaniei a insistat asupra nevoii ca PDL sa explice eforturile susținute facute de Guvern si de majoritatea parlamentara in domeniul reformarii statului si gestionarii efectelor crizei economice internationale”, se mai arata in comunicat.
Conducerea PDL si liderii organizatiilor locale ale partidului au avut duminica o intrunire la care a participat si Traian Basescu, care s-a desfasurat la Vila Lac 1.
Presedintele Traian Basescu le-a prezentat duminica liderilor PDL o serie de propuneri de modificare a Constitutiei, pornind de la aplicarea referendumului popular, adaugand teme precum revenirea la mandat de 4 ani, stabilirea unui deficit de cel mult 3%, introducerea euroregiunilor.
