Presedintele PSD, Victor Ponta, a declarat ca Adrian Severin trebuie sa demisioneze din Parlamentul European si din PSD. In replica, Adrian Severin sustine ca a demisiona la niste acuzatii care sunt mincinoase nu poate fi o solutie. “Ceea ce mi se cere este sa fac un sacrificiu ritual pentru ca toata lumea sa scape de o investigare a realitatii si acest lucru nu sunt dispus sa-l fac…Domnul Ponta a tras concluzii pe baza lecturii ziarelor”, a declarat Adrian Severin la Antena 3.
“Daca nu va considera de cuviinta sa faca acest lucru, voi declansa eu procedura de excludere din partid. Domnul Severin a gresit in activitatea dansului si trebuie sa-si asume respensabilitatea politica, lucrurile sunt net clare. Daca se va dovedi ca domnul Severin este nevinovat, imi voi cere scuze. PSD va urma in totalitate deciziile socialistilor europeni si de grupul socialistilor din Parlamentul European. Domnul Severin nu este victima unie conspiratii, ci a propriilor greseli”, a precizat liderul PSD, intr-o conferinta de presa.
