Procurorii Directiei de Investigare a Infractiunilor de Criminalitate Organizata si Terorism (DIICOT) efectueaza, luni, 25 de perchezitii domiciliare in Bucuresti si Galati, pentru destructurarea unei grupari, formata din peste 20 de persoane, specializata in comercializarea de produse etnobotanice.
Anchetatorii sustin ca, in perioada iulie 2010 – martie 2011, prin intermediul unor societati comerciale de comercializare a produselor etnobotanice, au introdus pe teritoriul Romaniei si au comercializat droguri de risc si de mare risc.
Desi societatile respective au fost in repetate randuri sanctionate si urmare a controalelor succesive reprezentantilor acestor societati li s-a adus la cunostinta faptul ca produsele comercializate au continut psihotrop, activitatea infractionala a continuat.
Procurorii DIICOT au dispus inceperea urmaririi penale fata de 20 de persoane si 13 persoane juridice, respectiv societatile comerciale prin intermediul carora au fost comercializate substantele stupefiante si psihotrope supuse controlului national, pentru savarsirea infractiunilor de constituire a unui grup infractional organizat, trafic ilicit international de droguri de risc si trafic ilicit international de droguri de mare risc.
