Vlas va fi eliberata din penitenciar, dupa 7 ani de inchisoare

Dupa apoape sapte ani de stat in inchisoare, fostul administrator al SOV Invest, Ioana Maria Vlas, va fi eliberata conditionat, in urma unei decizii a Tribunalului Prahova. Vlas era incarcerata la Penitenciarul de Femei Targsor si ispasea o pedeapsa de 10 ani, fiind gasita vinovata de prabusirea Fondului National de Investitii si Fondului National de Acumulare, in urma careia 300.000 de oameni au rams fara banii investiti. Ioana Maria Vlas este singura care a fost pedepsita pentru prabusirea celor doua fonduri. „Creierul” afacerii, Sorin Ovidiu Vintu, a fost „scapat” de judecatori si procurori, iar mana sa dreapra, Nicolae Popa, a fugit din tara, dupa ce a primit 15 ani inchisoare.
Initial, cecerea de eliberare conditionata inaintata de Vlas a fost admisa de Judecatoria Ploiesti, iar miercuri Tribunalul Prahova a respins recursul procurorilor.
In timpul sedintei de judecata de la tribunal, Ioana Maria Vlas a afirmat ca ceea ce “o socheaza” este sintagma “monitorizare necesara”.
“M-a monitorizat statul roman timp de aproape sapte ani si nu au gasit pana acum niciun motiv sa spuna ca am gresit cu ceva in aceasta tara”, a afirmat Vlas in fata completului de judecata.
Aceasta a solicitat judecatorilor sa fie “atat de intelegatori” incat sa o trateze “ca pe orice alta persoana privata de libertate”.
“Va rog frumos, un tratament egal”, le-a solicitat Vlas judecatorilor de la Tribunalul Prahova, mentionand ca un alt complet tot de la Tribunalul Prahova a dispus in urma cu cinci luni reducerea de la sase la patru luni a termenului stabilit de comisia de eliberare conditionata din cadrul Penitenciarului Targsor pentru rediscutarea cererii de eliberare depusa de Vlas.
La randul sau, avocatul Ioanei Maria Vlas a afirmat, in fata instantei, ca aceasta s-a implicat in foarte multe activitati cat timp a stat in Penitenciarul Targsor, precizand ca Vlas a avut activitate de creatie, a participat la alfabetizarea detinutelor si nu a avut niciodata probleme pe durata detentiei sale.
