Fratii Gheorghe si Bogdan Mararu, doi camatari ce activeaza in nordul Moldovei, au fost impuscati duminica in centrul orasului Piatra Neamt. Primul a murit pe loc, iar celalalt se afla in stare grava in spital. Atacatorul este Cristian Chilat, zis “Falau”, un infractor eliberat pentru buna purtare din puscarie, el fiind condamnat la trei ani de inchisoare pentru distrugere prin incendiere si port ilegal de armament.
Din primele informatii, Chilat s-a razbunat pe cei doi frati, pe care ii considera responsabili de arestarea sa. Conflictul ar fi inceput in 2006, cand Chilat i-a incendiat una dintre limuzinele lui Gheorghe Mararu. Acesta este camatar si traficant de masini de lux, fiul unui cunoscut lider interlop din Republica Moldova.
Cristian Chilat a intrat duminica intr-o cafenea din centrul orasului Piatra Neamt si a deschis focul in directia mesei unde se aflau fratii Mararu. Barbatul a descarcat un incarcator de pistol in ei, apoi a iesit si s-a urcat intr-un BMW. Gheorghe Mararu a murit dupa o ora, cu toate ca medicii de pe ambulanta au incercat sa-l resusciteze.
Imediat dupa incident, oamenii clanului Mararu au inceput sa-l caute pe ucigas, scotocind padurile din pasul Tazlau, o trecatoare aflata la 45 de kilometri de Piatra Neamt.
