Mocovei: Politicienii trimisi in judecata, sa fie dati afara din partid

Europarlamentarul PDL, Monica Macovei a atras din nou atentia asupra coruptiei din randul partidelor romanesti, sambata, cu ocazia conferintei internationale a partidelor de centru-dreapta, organizate de Institutul de Studii Crestin Democrate.
Ea sustine ca prezumtia de nevinovatie se aplica doar in instante, nu si in cadrul partidelor, care nu trebuie sa astepte decizii judecatoresti definitive pentru a da afara oameni care se confrunta cu probleme de integritate morala.
“Un partid nu trebuie sa astepe o decizie judecatoreasca definitiva, care la noi vine dupa cativa ani. Trebuie sa-si faca curatenie inainte. Se tot invoca prezumtia de nevinovatie. Asa se ascund in partide persoane cu o integritate morala indoielnica. A fi dat afara dintr-un partid sau din magistratura nu are nicio legatura cu prezumtia de nevinovatie, ci cu niste criterii de integritate. Un partid nu-l trimite pe omul respectiv in inchisoare, ci justitia. Trebuie doar sa-l impiedicam sa detina functii importante”, a declarat Macovei.
Ea anuntat ca a fost finalizata o rezolutie, semnata de toti participanti la conferinta (partide ce centru-dreapta din tarile Sud-Est), care cere tuturor formatiunilor de dreapta criterii de integritate si de competenta in numirile publice si in stabilirea ierarhiei in interiorul partidului. Rezolutie urmeaza sa fie trimisa tuturor formatiunilor din Europa Centrala si de Est. “Aceasta rezolutie va ajunge foarte repede si la PDL si personal voi continua ceea ce am inceput de mult timp, introducerea in partid a acestor criterii de integritate si curatenie in partid. Intrebarea este cum vor raspunde public si in fata electoratului cei care vor refuza sa introduca aceste criterii in PDL”, a afirmat Macovei.
Europarlamentarul PDL, o voce distincta si aproape unica in partid, a atentionat de nenumarate ori asupra imaginii negative pe care o aduc anumite personaje din aceasta formatiune cercetate penal sau chiar trimise in judecata, iar conducerea PDL nu face nimic pentru a-i sanctiona.
Un caz ilustrativ este in acest sens este cel al vicepresedintelui PDL Gheorghe Falca, primarul Aradului, care este judecat pentru fapte de coruptie.
Falca a tergiversat cat a putut desfasurarea procesului, iar dosarul sau se judeca deja de cel putin un an.
Mai mult, Falca, sustinut de Elena Udrea dar si de alti lideri puternici din Ardeal, isi face lobby in PDL pentru a candida la presedintia partidului, in primavara lui 2011.
