Un japonez a supravietuit doua zile pe mare pe o bucata din acoperisul casei sale

Un japonez in varsta de 60 de ani a fost salvat duminica la 15 kilometri de coasta nord-estica a Japoniei, dupa ce a stat vreme de doua zile agatat de o bucata din acoperisul casei sale luate de tsunami, a anuntat Ministerul Apararii, citat de AFP.
Hiromitsu Shinkawa a fost reperat de un distrugator al marinei in largul regiunii Fukushima in jurul orei locale 12:40, potrivit ministerului.
Barbatul este ‘sanatos’, dar a fost transportat la un spital, cu elicopterul, pentru evaluare, conform aceleiasi surse.
Potrivit agentiei de presa Jiji, acest localnic din orasul Minamisoma le-a povestit salvatorilor sai ca a ‘inceput sa fuga dupa ce a aflat de sosirea valului tsunami’. ‘Insa, am facut cale intoarsa pentru a recupera ceva de acasa, fiind luat de ape. M-am tinut de o bucata din tavanul casei mele si aceasta m-a salvat’, a adaugat el.
Cel mai recent bilant oficial al seismului cu magnitudinea de 9 grade si al tsunami care a urmat indica 688 de morti, 642 de persoane disparute si 1.570 de raniti. Cu toate acestea, putin mai devreme, seful politiei din prefectura Miyagi a recunoscut ca se asteapta ca bilantul sa depaseasca 10.000 de morti, doar in acea regiune.
