Copil de etnie roma, vandut in rate unei familii din Franta

Procurorii DIICOT Timis au retinut doua persoane, sot si sotie de etnie roma, suspectate ca, in 2004, si-au vandut copilul pentru 5.000 de euro, unei familii din Franta. Cei doi soti au fost dusi la Tribunalul Bucuresti, unde un judecator va decide daca trebuie arestati.
Din primele informatii, rezulta ca o familie de romi din Franta, ce nu putea avea copii, sa gandit sa apeleze la un cuplu din Romania, tot de etnie roma. Parintii naturali au mers in Franta, unde femeia a nascut, iar in acte a fost trecut cuplul francez. In schimbul micutului, familia din Romania trebuia sa primeasca 5.000 de euro in mai multe rate. Cei doi soti provind dintr-o localitate din judetul Salaj. Copilul se afla, in prezent, in Franta si are sase ani.
Anchetatorii i-au prins pe cei doi soti, luni seara, cand incercau sa ridice ultima transa din bani, respectiv 2.000 de euro. Ei au fost retinuti pentru 24 de ore, dupa care procurorii au hotarat sa solicite instantei de judecata arestarea celor doi soti.
