PDL l-a facut scapat din nou pe deputatul Dan Pasat din mainile DNA, pe acelasi scenariu al votului dat in favoarea Monicai Iacob Ridzi. Cererea procurorilor anticoruptie de arestare preventiva a fost respinsa de Camera Deputatilor deoarece nu a intrunit numarul de voturi necesare: 114 voturi “pentru”, 34 “impotriva” si 4 “abtineri”.
Era nevoie de minim 140 de voturi favorabile pentru punerea in aplicare a solicitarii DNA. Opozitia (PSD, PNL si PC) a refuzat sa voteze, lasand ca problema Pasat sa fie rezolvata in interiorul coalitiei guvernamentale.
Deputatii PDL au ignorat inca o data sfatul dat de seful statului, Traian Basescu, in sensul rezolvarii cazului Pasat, care reprezinta o problema de imagine pentru PDL. Basescu a mai cerut deputatilor democrat-liberali sa voteze in favoarea cererii DNA de extindere a urmaririi penale in cazul Monicai Iacob Ridzi, iar deputatii nu s-au conformat si au respins in plen cererea procurorilor. Liderul deputatilor PDL, Mircea Toader a declarat ca “inca suntem tributari, nu unui gest politic, ci unor probleme sentimentale, ca alta logica n-are”.
Deputatul PDL, Sulfina Barbu sustine ca “nu avem pe cine trage la raspundere, pentru ca nu avem un vot transparent”, iar deputatul Raluca Turcan a adaugat ca este “un gest regretabil”. Trebuie precizat ca presedintele de sedinta a fost Ioan Oltean,putea cere un vot deschis, insa a preferat votul cu bile la vedere.
DNA a solicitat Camerei Deputatilor un vot pozitiv pentru arestarea preventiva a lui Dan Pasat, urmarit penal intr-un dosar de santaj si amenintare.
